Easy Way to Load a Glock Magazine

  1. I learned this trick a while dorsum and I thought I would share. This works on brand new mags too. Load your magazine 2/3s full, hold the mag in your fist, strike the bottom of the magazine on a flat hard surface, but difficult enough to experience the spring flex a bit--believe it or not the magazine will load to capacity from now on. I can put the 15th circular in by hand in my G19 now---eeeasy. :)
  2. I recall it might be easier to use a Uplula speedloader. I love mine and I don't take to worry about breaking my mags by slamming them downward on somethng ;)

    interesting technique though.

  3. I'yard saying, If you shift the spring in your mag that once the mag volition take all rounds to capacity without fighting to get that last round in and the mag will insert in the gun a lot easier too. I didn't say SLAM the mag down, you can strike the mag to the palm of your other mitt and the leap will shift also. I employ a Upula loader likewise and the 15th circular goes in now just as easy equally the 10th round does, and no fighting to insert the magazine. The Glock mag will load just as easy as any other make mag, there is no "breaking in" the Glock mag it will have all rounds to capacity from the git get. If y'all will try it, you will be happy with the results. :)
  4. Funny - I have been able to put 17 rounds in my G17 magazine since I accept had information technology - over 15 years now, and 10 in my G26 over 10 years now - and that's without using the loading device that came with the guns - just my thumbs....

    What's the big deal?

  5. I don't recall ever having to forcefulness the concluding circular into whatsoever Glock mags.
  6. that is interesting indeed, however i agree, i use an uplula mag loader and have no issues.
  7. Interesting tip! I love stuff like this.

However, sometimes I get the feeling that I am THE ONLY GUY in existence who hasn't any bug loading magazines to capacity.

  8. My thumb works just fine. Never had a problem with the magazines for any of my iv Glocks.
  9. If a brand new 15 round mag won't take 15 rounds, at that place's something incorrect with it.
  10. I usually but load with my hands, I've never found the glock double stacks to be difficult to load to capacity.

Hhmmm...yes, this is a variation on an erstwhile armorer's trick, admitting a variant which is significantly harder on the magazine than the way I learned to do it. Information technology does work...assuming that the reason for the difficulty loading the magazine is of a particular nature.--Patrice
  12. Your not the only one snowdog. I also had trouble at get-go with both my g21 and my fathers g30. That is untill someone told me something similar to this little play tricks
  13. This. They get catchy, simply information technology'due south notwithstanding definitely possible without much problems. YM obviously varies.
  14. i would like to see some of you try and go the tenth circular in on my g30sf... :)
  15. I have never had this problem. I have always been able to load the mags to their total chapters with no bug. I know that they can be a trivial stiff at commencement and I usually keep a new mag loaded for a few days and it loosens up. Seems strange that one would feel they needed to 'Smash' their mag off something to load to full cap. Although, when I get-go got my P95 the mags it came with were really stubborn, I thought they accidentally gave me x round mags instead of 15 rounders. All it took to solve this problem was to continue them loaded a few days.
  16. This is the reason I fabricated this mail service. Load the mag ii/3s full, strike the bottom of the mag on the palm of your other hand, and the mag volition load to capacity for ever and e'er, no waiting, no breaking in. It volition load upward NOW. :banghead:
  17. +i. I have had it for 3 yrs and still can't fit the 10th one in. I will try this and run across if information technology helps.
  18. maybe you just accept girly fingers :p
  19. Practiced thread. Number ane matter I am suprised about with my new Glock is how hard it is to load the mag. Feel similar I am crushing or dissentious the other bullets. I tin load all 17 by hand but takes time and a bit of effort and after awhile some discomfort to my fingers. The autoloader doohicky help but the term "autoloader" is manner to generous for what information technology actually does, or rather doesnt do. Lol
  20. Information technology might be a bad thought to store them at full capacity though, check out my video entitled "glokmag" on Youtube @ mcoop571
  21. If you are having a hard time loading a mag to full chapters, you may want to disassemble it to run across if there is a problem. Mags should load to chapters without slamming stuff on other stuff.
  22. I always thought the low capacity 10 rnd mags were harder to load.
  23. This makes sense. Chances are the spring isn't properly seated on the floor of the mag. Near magazines take a secondary plate underneath the floorplate that the bound attaches to. If this is jammed up or otherwise non properly seated, it can prevent loading of the final round or make it exponentially more difficult. The "suspension in" is the leap finally seating itself. This method only fixes the trouble Now, non through the randomness of normal usage.
